Grappa Di Sagrantino - 500ml - Spirit

Made from Sagrantino, the native grape variety of this small and special region, this young grappa is clear, limpid, and crystalline in appearance.  On the nose, it offers a fragrant bouquet of herbs, flowers, and ripe fruit such as blackberry and currant. The palate is full, round, and delicately aromatic, with the fruit notes continuing through to a pleasantly persistent finish. Traditionally enjoyed as an after-dinner treat, this grappa pairs beautifully with fruit platters, desserts, sorbet, and chocolates served in chunks.  Its' youthful character also complements almond-based sweets like biscotti, almond tarts, cakes, and brownies with pronounced almond flavor.
