Description

Gaja acquired the Gromis Vineyard in 1995, naming it for the family that had owned it throughout the 19th century.  The 2018 vintage was challenging and saw many top producers, such as Gaja, bottle on lower volumes than is typical.  Dagromis Barolo is compelling and evocative, with rose petal, spice, dark fruit, and savoury undertones.  It will develop through the early 2030s.
