Description

At Eataly, we don’t just believe in any water, we believe in Lurisia, which bottles its mineral water directly from the source, Fonte Santa Barbara di Lurisia, at the base of the western Alps in the region of Piemonte. Exceptionally balanced, it is refreshing on its own and makes the perfect base for Lurisia’s line of sparkling sodas. The myrtle-leaf orange tree, or chinotto, is a Slow Food Presidia-cultivated fruit that grows in Savona, a province along the Ligurian Riviera. Combined with Lurisia’s mineral water, the sparkling soda is slightly more bitter than an orange with a tartness resembling a lime. Excellent on its own or in a cocktail, the soda pairs well with savoury appetizers for an aperitivo or bold secondi for an elegant accompaniment.
