Millefiori Honey from Apicoltura Margherita is a sweet and fragrant honey with a fruity and floral aroma. This honey, certified by the Slow Food Presidio, is sourced in Piemonte, in the Gran Paradiso National Park, and in Val di Susa. Pair this delicious honey with fresh ricotta, Alpine Italian cheeses or enjoy it on your dessert recipes.
Apicoltura La Margherita was started by Margherita Fogliati, who inherited her passion for honey and beekeeping from her father Renato. The honey is sourced exclusively from the firm's own hives, which are located in the most naturally undisturbed areas, free from pollution and traffic, in order to ensure consistent and exceptional quality. Since 2006, the company has been a member of Associazione Miele delle Vallate Alpine della Provincia di Torino, a provincial beekeepers' association that oversees production in compliance with strict rules. The wholesomeness of La Margherita products has been recognised in several national tasting competitions and is supported by the Slow Food Presidium, which protects products that support environmental and social sustainability.
